CloudWave announces its partnership with Methodist Hospital to perform backup and disaster recovery operations for their MEDITECH EHR and enterprise systems with OpSus Backup and OpSus Recover, part of their suite of services operated within the OpSus Healthcare Cloud.

Built for HIPAA and HITECH compliance, the OpSus Healthcare Cloud provides secure and sustainable services using a rigorous security framework and embedded data protection. OpSus Recover provides Methodist Hospital with secure, fully-managed disaster recovery services for MEDITECH EHR and Enterprise applications using images captured by OpSus Backup that are replicated to CloudWave’s Tier 4 data center. With a multitude of Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), and flexible price points, OpSus Recover was designed by a team of highly experienced engineers to ensure optimal local and remote data protection.

“In our efforts to improve our backup operations, we found CloudWave to be the partner we wanted based on their experience with MEDITECH.” said Randy McCleese, CIO at Methodist Hospital. “OpSus Backup performs and validates our backups, and OpSus Recover provides the full-service disaster recovery solution we need for data protection and compliance.
